(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sayyed Sadreddin Sadr, son of Imam Musa Sadr, left for Libya on Wednesday, January 11, to pursue the fate of his father.He was accompanied by a delegation of Lebanese officials headed by Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, AlMinar daily reported.Foreign ministry official Heisam Joma, Lebanese judge Hassan Shami, and Ali Yaqub, son of Sheikh Muhammad Yaqub (one of Sadr’s companions) are among the members of the delegation.They will meet with high-ranking Libyan officials to discuss the fate of Imam Musa Sadr and his two companions who went missing after a trip to Libya in 1978.Libyan and Lebanese officials have held a series of talks about the fate of Sadr since the fall of Muammar Gaddafi’s regime a few months ago.Since the beginning of Libya’s popular uprising which led to the collapse of the Gaddafi regime, there have been conflicting reports as to what has happened to Sadr and his companions, but none of the reports have been verified. /129
