Tunisian Chancellor: Tunisia revolution inspired by Islamic Revolution led by late Imam Khomeini

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Chancellor of Ez-Zitouna University in Tunis said here on Tuesday his country’s revolution is inspired by the 1979 Islamic Revolution led by late Imam Khomeini.     In a meeting the head of Iran-Tunisia Friendship Parliamentary Group, Abdeljalil Salem added that despite all negative propaganda against Iran, it has made remarkable progress. Chairman of Iran-Tunisia Friendship Parliamentary Group, Hassan Kamran congratulated the Tunisians on their victory and said that the wave of the Islamic awakening began from Tunisia which ushered in a new era in the region. He also said that global powers which are afraid of these developments are seeking to regain their dominance over the region through modern methods./129
