(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Jebeli said the book reviews the Islamic movements in Indonesia in the recent years.
A sociology lecturer at Al-Mostafa International University, he added that Islamic movements in Indonesia began some 40 years ago and sparked monumental events in the country's history.
"94% of Indonesians are Muslims," he said. "However, the country is being governed by it 6% minority making things unpalatable for Muslims." He argued that English and Dutch colonization of Indonesia has augmented Islamic movements.
Specifically speaking, foreigners treated Indonesians cruelly; such cruelty was very rampant in the country's agriculture. They forced the civilians to work on farms and produce spices desired by Europeans.
Injustice and maltreatment of Indonesians sparked numerous Islamic movements and formed various parties including the Muhammadiyah and Nadhlatul Ulama (NU) each perched by over 30 million members.
The book will be published and marketed by Bustan Ketab within the following few weeks.
