Second Day of Ashura Mourning in Zaria, Africa + Pic

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On Monday the second day of Ashura Mourning, Leader of the African Shia Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky started by giving lesson from Nahjul Balagha before delivering lecture about Ashura event.Reading  from sermon 37  of Imam Ali(AS), Sayyid Zakzaky outlined the good things prepared for  a believer on the day of Judgment adding that there shall be no suffering of any sort in Paradise. After  the brief lesson from Nahjul Balagha, he moved on to speak on the genesis of Ashura tragedy and the significance of Ashura Mourning, which he said eyes shed tears on the Day of Judgment except the eyes which weeps for Imam Husain(AS).On the wisdom behind mourning of the event, the leader said there are authentic traditions which explained blessings of Imam Husain (AS) Mourning, though, some many not believe. The question is why some people are disturbed during Ashura. This is because Mourning of the Karbala tragedy revives religion in the hearts of people. By mourning the tragedy people are getting to know that they were made to make a big loss in the killing of Imam Husain(AS).After the sunset prayers, matham was performed followed by Ziyara of closing prayer. /129
