(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Its roots were implanted in the heart of every Arab against his will, and I found in Bahrain what I have seen and lived in every Arab revolution of oppression, murder, terrorism, and arrest of each of those that raised their voice for change and shed the gown of humiliation and regime subordination. I saw the legitimate demands of the Bahraini people who took the Pearl roundabout as a center for their revolution and wavered banners calling for real change and calling for the toppling of the regime’s King, who I see as an autocrat. In their chants and banners, I did not find anything that indicates sectarianism for as long as I have been following the revolution, but I was surprised by outrageous letters from many Arab countries that condemned my support for this revolution and that denounce what they called “my fall in the Iranian trap”. That was when I wished victory for the Bahraini revolution so that the Arab world can rid itself of its Arab tyrants.” I think there are different positions from everyone regarding the Bahraini revolution, unlike what happened with the rest of the revolutions in the Arab world, especially the American position which some took as a reason not to support the Bahraini revolution. This was despite the fact that America’s position was clear, and so was its reason for supporting the ruling regime Bahrain. America is not willing under any circumstance to lose its oil owning allies in the Gulf region, because the downfall of Bahrain will trigger the downfall of the rest of the Gulf countries which are considered the biggest supporters and strategic allies of the United States. In addition to what the Gulf States represent as an American defense system against Iran. The Bahraini revolution which I saw, was a revolution in which more than half of the Bahraini population went out to demand their legitimate rights, and even if it was a revolution that represents one sect that makes up the majority of this county, I cannot deny their right to go out and achieve their demands which are not in any way sectarian. This is why my continuous and constant support for this revolution is something that I say as obvious and logical to the furthest extent, not matter how many accusations pour in from any side. “Glory to the martyrs… victory to the people”./129

I followed the Bahraini people’s revolution during the past few months like the other uprisings that have finally reached our Arab region, and in which the Arab people emerged holding the banner of freedom over the thrones and chairs shaking with their roars the pillars of injustice than have long been established in our countries.
