(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The demonstrators took to the streets in the village, which is near the capital Manama, on Sunday, chanting slogans against the ruling Al Khalifa regime.
The protest rally came as the Saudi-backed regime forces arrested 10 anti-government protesters in several cities across the country on Saturday.
Last week, five opposition groups in Bahrain, including the influential al-Wefaq party, called for an elected government, describing it as the only solution to end months of anti-government protests in the country.
Since the beginning of anti-government demonstrations in Bahrain in February, scores of people have been killed and hundreds more have been arrested in the brutal crackdown of the Saudi-backed regime forces on peaceful protesters.
