(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Spokesman of Bahrain's February 14 Revolution Abdul Raouf al-Shayeb said that the Al-Khalifa regime has exerted growing pressure on the family of Ali Jawad as well as a number of other witnesses in the case and intimidated them into changing their testimony in the government's interest.
The 15-year old teenager died in Bahrain on Wednesday after being hit by a tear gas canister fired by the security forces during anti-government protests in Bahrain.
Witnesses said that the victim, identified as Ali Jawad, was hit in the head by a tear gas canister fired from close range.
Meantime, Bahrain's interior ministry on Friday denied that police shot dead teenage protesters and in a mocking move offered a $26 500 reward for information about his killers.
Al Shayeb said that the reward shows that the regime is trying to change the realities in the case.
