(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to Al-Alam TV Network, Bahraini protestors held rallies in the cities of Deir, Shahrkan, Naeem, and As-Senabes till late Friday and while chanting slogans against the ruling regime underlined equal chance in decision-makings.
They reiterated that the demonstrations would be continued till the end.
Meantime, Al Wefaq National Islamic Society's spokesman Khalil Al-Marzooq said that Bahraini medical professionals, who were arrested at the start of a government crackdown on pro-democracy protests earlier this year, have gone on hunger strike.
They have been held in jail for almost six months, while their trial continues in a military court.
Bahraini and international human rights organizations have called the trials a farce.
Al-Mazrooq said: "The trial of Bahraini medics in a military tribunal is against the country’s constitution, since article 105 of the constitution says civilians should be tried in civilian courts only."
The ruling dictatorial regime has imposed a crackdown on the demonstrators since the beginning of massive protests in mid-February, 2011.
