(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A center for interfaith dialogue between Islam and Christianity was set up on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan near Golden Mosque in Manila, The Philippines. According to fides website, the center was opened on August 25 by Muslim leaders of the region in cooperation with Clement Ignacio, Archbishop of Manila. The center is to be directed by Selsele Association of Interfaith Dialogue which will organize programs, forums and meetings at the center. It is for the first time that such a center has been established near a mosque in the country and Muslim citizens are happy because of the innovative decision and regard it as a step towards providing an opportunity for peaceful coexistence among the citizens of Manila. The center will be officially opened on September 20 with the presence of Muslim and Christian leaders, political and government officials and citizens of the Philippines./129
