In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Such as deliver the messages of Allah and fear him, and fear no one except Allah and Allah suffices as reckoner.
Each one of the oppressed people of Bahrain like other nations under despotic regimes have raised to gain their own rights for more than six months; they are under the severest pressure, torture, murder, arrest and expelling.
Whilst the revolution of people in Bahrain is a peaceful and calm revolution and unlike revolutionaries in states like Egypt, Libya and Yemen its revolutionary youth were never violent in the period past.
Without doubt, curious leadership of scholars, stances of his holiness Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim in particular and his Friday sermons that is always invites people to peacefulness and awareness and calls on the government to legislation and fairness and has the best role in this peaceful uprising. He also warns the nation of Bahrain of division and separation and seeks to neutralize the plot of religious and sectarian sedition by enemies in this Sheikdom.
But instead of taking the scholars’ advice and give back people’s rights, Al-Khalifah regime unfortunately has threatened and frightened Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim. The regime has accused this grand scholar and example of ethics of being lawbreaker and interferer in the process of the recent trials. This regime advises him to correctly benefit from the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah. Whilst the scholars of Bahrain and Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Qasim himself versus types to pressures by Al-Khalifah government and the occupying troops of Al-Su’ud have no weapon but pencil and delivering speech through which he works for the nation of Bahrain, its government and defending the oppressed. This is the very will of the Apostle of God who said: He who wakes up in the morning unconcerned about the situations of fellow Muslims is not a Muslim.
Therefore, the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) World Assembly holds that the threatening letter of the justice minister of Bahrain is plotting and evil that indicates satanic intention of Bahraini government against the oppressed people of this country and its good scholars who have called on people for peaceful rallies. The Assembly also asks the sheikdom to listen to the rightful demands of its people. As an institution therein hundreds of religious scholars, educated and elites of the Muslim world who are its members, the Ahl al-Bayt (‘a) World Assembly warns Bahrain of any impoliteness, pressure or aggression against Ayatollah Isa Qasim and other scholars is an insult against knowledge and religion and believes that Muslims, scholars and awake people in various states will never be silent againt their action; this will have unsuitable aftermaths for Bahraini government in the region and the world.
