(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Iran Cultural Center in Sri Lanka distributed 1800 copies of the holy Quran among the mosques and cultural centers of the country. According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the copies were distributed in line with the objectives of the Iranian center to disseminate Quranic activities and culture in Sri Lanka. Islamic Republic of Iran gifted the Quran copies to Islamic centers in Colombo on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Having traveled to the eastern and northern regions of Sri Lanka, Mahdigholi Rokni, Iran cultural attaché in this country became aware of what is needed by Muslim communities in these regions. From among the activities during his trip, was distribution of the Quran copies in these regions and holding sessions with a number of Muslims to discuss Islamic awareness and the need for Muslims unity./129
