(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Dozens of Egyptians gathered at Al-Tahrir Square in Cairo on Friday night, following their meeting with head of Egypt’s armed forces high council, Hussein Tantawi, chanting mottos such as We Want a Civilian Government, and Death to Military Power.
Following the victory of Egyptian revolution, the Egyptian people have mainly demanded the cancellation of state of emergency and formation of a democratic ruling system.
The former Egyptian autocratic ruler, Hosni Mobarak, was forced to resign on February 11, 2011, following popular protests in Egypt.
Meanwhile, the majority of Egyptian parties that intend to contend throughout next November Parliamentary elections have emphasized that to hold free and fair elections the state of emergency should be revoked in this country.
