Famous Egyptian Reciter Honored by Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine

Ahmad Ahmad Nuaina, secretary general of Egypt’s Union of Quran Reciters, was honored and granted a token of gratitude by the officials of Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Ahmad Ahmad Nuaina, secretary general of Egypt’s Union of Quran Reciters, was honored and granted a token of gratitude by the officials of Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine.  The Dar-ol-Quran center of Imam Hussein (AS) Holy Shrine has been running a set of Quran recitation sessions and Quranic forums since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan with the presence of Ahmad Ahmad Nuaina, internationally-known Egyptian reciter.  Ahmad Ahmad Nuaina received the award token of the holy shrine during a special ceremony that was held on August 10, attended by a number of Iraq’s Quranic and cultural figures and interested participants.  He was the first guest of honor attending the Quranic forumS in the holy shrine. Some other prominent Egyptian reciters are participating in the gatherings as well.  A number of other renowned Egyptian reciters are also expected to travel to Karbala during the holy month in order to attend the Quranic sessions./129
