“Message of Islam” Quarterly Published in Thailand

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The 120 page magazine has been published in 1000 copies to make the Muslims of the country particularly the elites, intellectuals and Thai Shias more familiar with lofty teachings of Islam.  The materials have been presented in two parts of Thai and English language. The message of the Supreme Leader on the 22nd anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini (RA), preaches pronounced by him on the importance of prayer, “Manzel-ol-Za’erin” by Hojat-ol-Islam Ansari, “Surah Baqara (part 1)” by Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, “Shia Answers” by Allameh Tabatabayi, “characteristics of a faithful Muslim” by Seyyed Hashem Rasuli Mahallati, political thoughts in Alawi Dialogue, the life of Imam Hassan Askari (AS) by Ayatollah Pishwayi and holy status of Hazrat Fatemeh (SA) by Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani are some of the issues included in Thai language part. Among the articles included in this part, mention can also be made of Islamic revolution in the 20th century by Anas Amatayakul, lecturer of Mahidol University, philosophical lessons of the Quran by Jaran Malulim, lecturer of Thammasat University, movement of Muslim revolutionists in the Middle East and political philosophy of Islam in view of Dr. Ali Shari’ati by Sarawat Ari, lecturer of Chulalongkorn University, political philosophy of Imam Khomeini by Elias Taray, lecturer of Silpakorn University and political philosophy of Islam in Farabi and Imam Khomeini’s thoughts by Sheikh Sharif Hadi, lecturer of Ayutaya University of Technology. The English part of the quarterly covers topics such as the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA), 22nd anniversary of the demise of Imam Khomeini (RA), exhibition on "Iranian women’s rights at the Islamic Consultative Assembly", and book fair in Bangkok./129
