Asad Khezr, the festival director, announcing the festival motto as to be "when dictator fall, creativity wins" said: "The first art festival of Arabic revolutions will continue until July 30, 2011."
According to the report, artists from Tunisia, Libya and Palestine who are popular for resistance, opposition, and their support for the people of the Middle Eastern region are present in the festival. According to Alarabia site of Palestine, Zeyd Tim, the founder of Hanin Group, Vael Albadri, the Libyan revolutionary artist who has sung for Libya, Mustafa Mahmoud from Egypt, and Sana Mousa will be present in the festival.
According to the plans, the festival will be held throughout Tunisia in the cultural complexes in Almahdieh, Ghabes, Ghafase, Souse, and Jondoubeh cities.
There would be special shows in Seyedi Bouzeid City in which the Tunisian Revolution flamed up as the first Arabic revolution in the region with Mohammad Albouazizi's martyrdom.
Also, there would be some shows for Libyan refugees at the border of Libya and Tunisia.
