(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The spokesperson for UN chief said: The UN secretary general welcomes this measure and emphasizes that this probe committee should have access to all related individuals, organizations, and data.
The UN chief noted that based on global norms and criteria, the five-member probe committee should act completely independently in the investigations on the recent bloody developments in Bahrain.
The Bahraini king ordered the establishment of this five-member board on Wednesday.
This probe committee should present the outcomes of its investigations until October 30.
Despite the apparent calm in Bahrain, tensions continue in this tiny Persian Gulf island nation, and the justice-seeking popular uprising in this country has been brutally suppressed by the corrupt Aale Khalifa regime.
Meanwhile, the human rights organizations have denounced the heavy-handed suppression of the popular protests by the Saudi-backed Bahraini forces.
