(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Egypt's Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Fayza Abul-Naja has said that agreements signed with the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) here are aimed at boosting development in the north African country.
She said in a press statement Tuesday that the establishment of a USD 864 million power station in Suez is aimed at strengthening economic development, provide jobs and improve the living condition of the people.
She said that the IDB would donate USD 300,000 to launch a project for teaching the Arab language for foreigners.
Abul-Naja said the IDB's total financial contributions to different sectors in Egypt amounted to USD 900 million since the bank's establishment in 1974
