(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahraini authorities decided Friday to reinstate 571 sacked employees into their jobs for lack of legal foundations justifying their dismissals.
A verification committee chaired by Labour Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan has recommended the concerned employees to be reinstated.
The authorities added that necessary measures will be taken to implement this recommendation.
The employees were fired from their job over participating in pro-democracy protests.
The committee has also been directed to speed up the scrutiny of all the remaining cases, to ensure the legality of their dismissals, and then submit an expedite report.
Prime Minister Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa had issued directives setting up the verification committee.
The panel had since then gauged the cases of employees sacked by companies to ensure the legality of disciplinary measures.
