El Khansa to File New Complaint before ICC against Bahraini Regime

The Chief Representative of the International Coalition against Impunity (HOKOK), May El Khansa, will be leaving to The Hague to submit a new complaint before the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Bahraini regime.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - El Khansa is to file the complaint on 17/06/2011, backed with a large number of images and videos to prove the vicious crimes taking place in Bahrain. The pictures will display some of the martyrs who died as a result of torture which appears on their bodies.

The Chief Representative will be accompanied by ten European lawyers and a number of victims of the crimes committed by the Bahraini regime.

This will demonstrate to the public opinion the suppressing system, the crimes against humanity, and genocide that are still being practiced in Bahrain against civilians by King Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa and his followers, with the cooperation of the ministry of defense of the United Kingdom which has been training Bahraini officers to suppress the demonstrations even after the protests.

The complaint contains details of the daily violations of the Bahraini government in response to the peaceful protests, which began on February 14, 2011.

It includes the destruction of a large number of mosques which belong to a particular sect, in addition to the arrest and detention of many Bahrainis. It also contains a message of deep concern vis-a-vis the defense of the victims who have been sentenced to death.
