Speaking at a program held on the occasion, the leader mentioned some of the virtues of the Infallible by referring to hadiths from Sunni and Shia sources.
He further talked about the importance of respecting women’s rights in today’s society and severely criticized those who violate woman's rights.
The ceremony also hosted winners of the contest held on the “character of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (SA)” who were awarded by the leader.
As another part of the program, Malama Zina Ibrahim, a Muslim activist of the country clarified various aspects of the character of the holy prophet’s (PBUH) daughter.
A DVD featuring the biography and campaigns of Imam Khomeini in the Hausa language was unveiled at the end of the program.
Organized to provide needy citizens with free services and support the orphans of the society, the institute was launched on May 24 with participation of a large number of Muslims from among Nigerian Shias in Zaria, north of the country.
