Australian Ambassador Discusses the Bahrain Crisis in Meeting with Secretary General

Australian Ambassador to Iran Discusses the Middle East Situation and Bahrain Crisis in His Meeting with the Secretary General of AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Marc Innes-Brown, the Australian Ambassador to Iran, held negotiations with Hujjatul-Islam Akhtari, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt World Assembly at the headquarters of the AhlulBayt World Assembly in Tehran.

The current situations in the Middle East in general and disastrous conditions in Bahrain in particular, were discussed in the meeting.

While expressing his pleasure for the presence of Mr. Brown and the accompanying delegation at the World Assembly, Hujjatul-Islam Akhtari elaborated the fundamental ideological principles of Muslim faith and that of the followers of Ahlulbayt.

Mr. Akhtari highlighted that the basic concept of Islam is the ‘relation of man with Almighty Allah’. He added: “Islam is a religion, which establishes good relations with all people”.

The activities of the AhlulBayt World Assembly were briefed for the Australian Ambassador. The current situation in the Middle East and Bahrain were also discussed by the two sides.

Jimmy Cooper, Second Secretary at Australian Embassy in Tehran, Mr. Dhirani, a Shiite activist in Australia, and Mr. Jahantab, Director General of Asia/Pacific Bureau at the AhlulBayt World Assembly, were also present in the meeting.
