(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sources close to the US Embassy in Bahrain assured that the US Department of State sent the US Embassy Political Affairs officer in Manama LUDOVIC HOOD home in fear for his personal safety. HOOD had received threats from what the sources called extremist Islamic groups, who are close to the regime in Bahrain.
The same source told Bahrain Mirror that HOOD and his wife are on vacation and are supposed to return to Bahrain, unless the US Department of State decides to send him back to Washington, especially after the extremist Wahhabi distributed a photo of him and his wife tying the knot, as well as reported their residence address and threatened them.
Moreover, a political source told Bahrain Mirror "The risk on HOOD is true. Bahrain, in some regions, has witnessed the presence of some hooligans of the security forces holding flags of Al Qaeda organization and photos of Bin Laden." The source also told Bahrain Mirror that the extremist Wahhabi groups have cases opened against them before Bahraini courts on charges of possessing weapons and scheming for terrorist acts."
