(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Council of Shia Muslim Scholars in North America, and based on our goals of educating the public, and the call of our Grand Jurists to use peaceful and legal means to express our feelings, reaffirm the condemnation of injustice against any legal, innocent and peaceful expression in which citizens call for their basic human rights.
We, therefore, urge citizens to use peaceful means to express the principles of diversity, cooperation and justice. Educating the public about what is happening in Bahrain through any effective mediums, encourages the Shia Muslims to emphasize the concepts of citizenship and integration within society by using the best means of expression, to serve the peaceful coexistence with other religions and groups.
Education of citizens is effective in bringing awareness to all members of society so we can join in prayers to alleviate the injustice against any human being. One such medium is the peaceful rally being arranged by organizations and community groups next week, on Friday, April 15th in Washington D.C.
We ask God to assist us in spreading the education of the principles of peace and justice as taught to us by our Immaculates.
