The ceremony was attended by a number of Iranian officials, including the country’s ambassador to Zimbabwe, Purnajaf, as well as deputy of Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Masudpur.
Speaking in praise of Hazrat Zeynab’s (SA) exceptional characteristics, Masudpur elaborated on the notion of patience and fortitude from the Islamic point of view, noting that Hazrat Zeynab (SA) is a perfect role for all.
Deputy Manager of the Association of the Lebanese Residents in Zimbabwe, Abu Khalil Badir, who took part in the ceremony, delivered a speech in both English and Arabic and highlighted the Islamic Revolution, noting that the Lebanese Shias were inspired by the historic event which has roots in Islamic teachings and Ahl-ul-Bayt's (AS) tradition.
