(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Islamic Studies Association is able to cover Thailand’s Shia news, said Iran cultural attaché in a meeting with head of the association in Thailand.
Visiting the association, Jalal Tamleh, the Iranian attaché, said supported by the Iranian center, the Islamic Studies Association has been actively involved for the recent two years in dissemination of Islamic teachings through publication of Wahdat magazine and translation of various books on religious issues in Thai language as well as producing movies on Islamic sciences.
“The Iran Cultural Center has tried to provide the association with what it needs to produce movies and documentaries and arrange interviews. In cooperation with the director of the association, the center has produced valuable programs for Cyperspace and those to be broadcast by Al-Hadi and Thaqalayn TV Channels.
During the meeting, Farid, head of the association, gave a brief history of the association and its various activities and interactions with the media.
In this visit, Tamleh was accompanied by Pur Marjan, director general of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in the Asia and Oceania Affairs.
