Mohammad Rafaa Al-Tahtawi, manager of the office for Al-azhar Sheikh, said that the common feature between the Islamic Revolution of Iran and Egyptian Revolution is that they both were from people and both stood against the corrupted regimes.

He highlighted the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA) as the main reason for its superiority and importance of its Islamic aspect.
 
Egyptian scholar vowed the impact of the Revolution on other Islamic and Arabic countries and warned against the efforts of the enemies to confront Egyptian Revolution.

"Egyptian Revolution has a long way to realize its objectives and formation of a liberal and democrat society without the least trace of the previous regime." said Mohammad Rafaa Al-Tahtawi hailing the move to inject a new life into the veins of the Egyptian nation.

He counted the freedom of prisoners, pulling of state of emergency, freedom of political activities of the parties, reshuffling of the ousted president Hosni Mubarak's cabinet, formation of fact finding committees to investigate corruptions as some of the objectives of the Egyptian Revolution.

"This revolution proved the unity of all Egyptian groups and ethnics." Said Al-azhar scholar and referred to the efforts of the previous regime to widen the gap between Muslims and Christians.

He vowed that Egypt in 21 century will be the forerunner of democracy for the region and said, "We want Egyptian nation to lead its own fate."

He urged the Egyptian revolutionaries to keep their fights till they achieve their objectives which are a complete realization of aims of the Revolution, formation of a liberal system without influence of oppressive intelligence organizations and illegal prosecutions of the people.
