(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In a meeting with Robert C. Ndlovu, Archbishop of Zimbabwe, Mohammad Asadi Movahed stressed the lofty status of Jesus (AS) and Mary (SA) in the Quran and said Islam holds a special view of Christianity as one of the Divine faiths.
He highlighted the need for fostering spirituality in the world and said returning to God and monotheistic ideologies can save societies from cultural and religious crises.
He invited the Archbishop to attend the international conference of Global Alliance Against Terrorism for A Just Peace (GAATJP), slated to be held in Tehran in May.
Robert C. Ndlovu, for his part, said that promoting cooperation and interaction can bring monotheists closer together and contribute to a better society. He also hailed the GAATJP conference.
At the end of the meeting, Asadi Movahed gifted a copy of the English translation of the Quran to the Christian leader.
