Omar Suleiman, Egypt vice-president, vows to carry out promised reforms and calls for calm.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - - We ask all the people keen on the security of Egypt to act reasonably and look to the future.

- The movement [of the people] succeeded in making change. Change is being made and amendments have taken place.

- What [Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak] announced today, proved his patriotic commitment and awareness of the dangerous phase Egypt is going through.

- After [Mubarak delegated to me] his powers, in order to restore calm and tranquility in the country, I call on everyone to help out in order to reach this goal.

- We have opened the door for dialogue and mapped the road in order to fulfill all demands.

- The door is still open to all possibilities.

- I vow to commit to the decisions of the national dialogue and work on fulfilling the demands of the peole through a civilized dialogue.

- I call on all the citizens to look to the future. The people will not be dragged into chaos.

- Let us all walk together to a new path.

- Youth of Egypt, go back to your [normal] lives.

- Rumors only aim to weaken Egypt. Listen only to your conscience and judgment.

- The time has come to start working.

- We will work with team spirit. I vow to work for this country to work with all I have to serve this country.

- May God’s peace be upon you.
