(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The call for short story writing literary festival commemorating Imam Khomeini has been well received in Sudan.
According to Zeynab Balil, a Sudan activist and expert in literary issues, it is the first time during the last 20 years that a literary competition has been so welcomed in this country.
From among the large number of works sent to the secretariat of the festival, 71 have been selected as the qualified ones to be attended the competition.
The three top works will be awarded in a ceremony to be held on Wednesday, February 16, at Ferdows International Hall in Khartoum.
The winner of the first rank will be awarded 1000 junaih (Sudanese currency) and a trip to Iran and the second and the third winners will be gifted 750 and 500 Sudanese currencies, respectively.
