Egypt has released an Israeli spy arrested during protests in the country's northeast following the request of Israel's Foreign Ministry.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Egypt has released an Israeli spy arrested during protests in the country's northeast following the request of Israel's Foreign Ministry.

Tomer Sahiak was arrested at the seaport town of Suez on Wednesday, Ynetnews reported on Wednesday.

The detention took place on the ninth consecutive day of the protests across Egypt against the regime of three-decade-long President Hosni Mubarak.
