The programme attended by 18 converts is an effort in giving moral, spiritual and psychological attention to them to ensure that their conversion to Islam is everlasting through the efforts of His Majesty's government through the Ministry of Religious Affairs as the pioneer.
The 14-day programme also instills Islamic teachings through practical training in religious practices. At the end of the programme, the converts will undergo an assessment examination to determine how much they have learnt and understood.
Such a programme is also indirectly propagating the Islamic syiar among those intending to embrace Islam. The programme organised by the Islamic Dakwah Centre that began in 1990, emphasizes on Islamic Moral, Religious Practices, Tauhid, Fardhu Kifayah or Community Obligations and Food for Muslims.
