Malaysian professor slams silence on Iranian scientists’ murders

A Malaysian University professor, Chandra Mozaffar, on Saturday said it is a shame that the academics and universities did not react to assassination of Iranian scientists by Zionists enjoying the US support.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A Malaysian University professor, Chandra Mozaffar, on Saturday said it is a shame that the academics and universities did not react to assassination of Iranian scientists by Zionists enjoying the US support.

In his article published in Malaysia, Professor Mozaffar wrote that the Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro in his recent remarks reiterated on the role of Israeli security forces in assassination of Iranian scientists with the support of US and Britain.

“It was two months ago that the Iranian nuclear scientist, Majid Shahriari, was assassinated and one year before that another nuclear scientist, Masoud Ali-Mohammadi, was killed in an explosion in front of his house in Tehran. Another scientist was assassinated in Isfahan in 2007,” Mozaffar added.

Head of International Justice Movement emphasized that Mossad’s British expert, Gordon Thomas, has revealed that Israel’s Mossad spy agency used its kidnapping and killing department called Kidon for assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists.

According to Professor Mozaffar, the Israeli newspaper, Yediot Ahoront revealed that Kidon comprises 38 members aged between 20 to 30 years old who speak Persian fluently.

“If Thomas’ remarks are true, it would not be difficult to understand why Israel pursues assassination of Iranian nuclear scientists,” he added.

Professor Mozaffar pointed out that Israel does not want to lose its superior position in nuclear technology in west Asia.

“Israel is well-aware that by attacking Iran’s nuclear sites and elimination of Iranian nuclear scientists, it will remain the sole nuclear power in the region,” he added.

Professor Mozaffar further said that it seems that as if the western media are duty-bound to defend Israel and even worse is the disappointing silence of scientists and experts around the world in condemning these terrorist acts against scientists.
