Saying Shahadatein(two testimonies), said when a person wants to convert or revert to Shia Islam, these two women from the Philippines converted to Islam changing choosing their Muslim names as Jamila and Zahra.

Quite satisfied with her Islamic Hijab, Jamila Haisel said she found Islam quite different from other religions and once she had met Muslims, referred to her heart and deeply embraced the religion as the best one.

Previously called Karen, Zahra said mourning month of Muharram, the culture of Ashura, upraising of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W), and prayer were the reasons that persuaded her to convert to Islam.

Dispite the often negative portrayal of Islam pictured by the western media, based on the recent studies, the number of converts to Islam in Britain alone has doubled in the past decade raising the figure to as many as 100,000.
