(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Community of Shiites in Pendang district, State of Kedah (also known by its Arabic honorific, Darul Aman, or "Abode of Peace") make a police report on 10 am this morning reject the defamation and insult toward Shia in recently mass media.
The groups about 20 people attend in Pendang Police Headquarter were led by Ustaz Abdullah bin Hassan and had a press conference in nearby the Pendang Police Headquarter wiht a groups of journalist.
Abdullah bin Hassan is former detainee who spend 1 year in Kamunting Detention Camp under Internal Security Act (ISA) which allows detention without trial - was a violation of basic rights on 2nd October 1997.
In his detention order, Abdullah was accused of “receiving secret funds, distributing pamphlets, and sponsoring secret meetings ... and certain activities on teachings deviating from the teachings of Islam that may cause confusion and disunity among the Muslims in Malaysia.”
