Iran to Assist in Establishing Dar-ul-Quran Centers in Philippines

The Islamic Republic of Iran will cooperate in establishing Dar-ol-Quran Centers in the Philippines.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Islamic Republic of Iran will cooperate in establishing Dar-ul-Quran Centers in the Philippines.

This is according to Hossein Divsalar, Iran’s Cultural Attaché in the Philippines, speaking after a meeting with Nasser Abinal head of Imamiya Society and Bassir Datu managing director of the society.

Divsalar also discussed Iran’s cooperation in building libraries in the south east Asian country.

He said previous efforts by Iran Cultural Center in the Philippines such as establishing the Dar-ol-Quran center of the Miharlika Mosque has been welcomed by the country’s officials and the Muslim Commission.

He stressed that efforts should be made to introduce the culture of the countries especially in the field of religion.

Divsalar expressed hope that cooperation between the two countries in different areas will develop.

During the meeting, a report about the society’s activities and programs was presented to the Iranian Cultural Attaché.
