(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The opening ceremony of the Islamic radio network was attended by Muslim figures, governor of Adamaoua and citizens interested in religious issues.
Broadcasting religious and cultural programs such as teaching of Quran memorization and recitation and speeches by scholars about various issues of the Islamic world in Arabic and Fulani language have been announced as the aims of launching the radio.
Stressing the importance and the role of media in today’s world, the scholars and government officials present at the ceremony regarded the establishment of the Islamic radio as a step towards promotion of religious and spiritual values in society.
The religious association of Islamic Da’wa in Cameroon has financially supported the launch of the radio.
