The five-day Hajj, an annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, ended on Nov. 18. Chinese Muslim pilgrims have all safely and successfully performed their Hajj rituals

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The five-day Hajj, an annual pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, ended on Nov. 18. Chinese Muslim pilgrims have all safely and successfully performed their Hajj rituals.

Yang Zhibo, head of the Chinese Hajj group, said in an interview with Xinhua News Agency that Chinese Muslims completed Hajj on the morning of Nov. 18 (Mecca time), and have all returned from the tent city of Mina to Mecca.

Yang said that the number of Muslims going from all around the world to Mecca for the Hajj 2010 rose 20 percent from last year, exceeding the handling capacity of the Jeddah Airport, the nearest airport to Mecca, which delayed the flight back to China for several days.

Ma Zucheng and his wife, a Muslim couple from Gansu Province, said the Chinese Hajj group organized the pilgrimage very well and provided very considerate services.
