(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Africa Shia Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky announces the passing away of one of its member Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi Almizan.
Brother Abubakar died on Saturday evening the 30th of October, 2010 at Ahamdu Bello University Teaching hospital, Shika Zaria. He died of a protracted illness.
Funeral prayer led by Sheikh Sayyid Zakzaky was conducted on Sunday at Fudiyyah Islamic Center and later buried at Kofar Jatau Burial ground Zaria. Many attended the funeral.
Before his death Mallam Abubakar was active member of the Islamic Movement and Publication Manager of Popular Movement's newspaper, Almizan.
