(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The Kuje branch of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN) at the weekend urged Nigerians irrespective of their religion, ethnic and cultural backgrounds to live in peace with one another.
Vice president of the association, Ustaz Abdulrahman Musa, stated this while delivering a lecture titled: “The essence of unity among mankind”, which was held at the Kayarda Central Mosque, Kuje, Abuja.
Musa stated that for the country to move forward, muslims and non-muslims alike must uphold the truth, recognize the rights of one another and also understand that only peaceful co-existence among adherents of different faiths could bring favour from Allah.
According to him, religious leaders should always preach peace, unity and tolerance, adding that societal problems being witnessed in the country are due to the quest for material acquisition.
