The Martyrs of Qods rally remembered by African Shias in Kano

Members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria held a peaceful procession after the Friday prayers on 16th Shawwal 1431 (24th September, 2010) to the Bachirawa burial ground in Kano where Al-Quds Day martyrs killed 2000 by former Governor Rabiu kwankwaso were laying rest.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; Members of the Islamic movement in Nigeria held a peaceful procession after the Friday prayers on 16th Shawwal 1431 (24th September, 2010) to the Bachirawa burial ground in Kano where Al-Quds Day martyrs killed 2000 by former Governor Rabiu kwankwaso were laying rest.

Members of the Movement were attacked by armed men of police under the order of Governor Kwankwaso after they finished the Quds Day procession in 2000 with view of stopping Quds gathering. This led to the murder of six people. They are Shaheed Isa Zakariyya Gyallesu, Shaheed Maazu Lawan, Shaheed abubakar Isa, Shaheed Saadu Usman, Shaheed Abubakar Uba Farawa and Shaheed Isa Ashiru.

Before reaching the Bachirawa burial ground the participants branched at the kofar Mazugal burial yard  and prayed for 3 martyrs.

Also Shaheed AbdulRahman and Shaheed Muhammad Musa  slained in Zaria in 2009, while celebrating Quds Day rally  were remembered.

Mal Sunusi AbdulKadir Koki led the procession and prayers conducted at the Graveyard. He used the opportunity to re-state the resolute of members of the Islamic movement   on the path of the struggle under the leadership of Sayyid Ibraheem Zakzaky (H). He also revisited the atrocities committed at different occasions by individuals and groups on members of the movement in Nigeria and the oppressed all over the world.

The procession came to an end by 4:30pm.
