Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; A lawyer has sparked outrage by smoking what appeared to be joints made from Koran and Bible pages.

Alex Stewart claimed he was hitting back at the reaction by Muslims to US pastor Terry Jones's threat to burn Islamic books.

The 29-year-old, who works at a university in Queensland, posted his clip on YouTube and said the cleric's stunt was "no big deal" and people "should get over it".

But Aussie Islamic chief Ikebal Patel said: "It's highly offensive what he did to these holy books." Stewart insisted the video was a joke.
