Ahlul Bayt News Agency, The Ramadan Tafsir at Fudiyyah Islamic Center (F.I.C) by African Shia cleric, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky, comes to an end on Monday the 27th of Ramadan 1431 with a closing remark by the leader. Sheikh reiterated his calls which he echoed to Muslims at the beginning of the month. He called on Muslims, especially the Clerics, to avoid translating the holy book according to their views and opinions.
Views and opinions of clerics can be best be explained at an appropriate time appointed for that where one can expose his views to people to accept it or not, The Sheikh noted adding that using Tafsir time to impose personal views on others is wrong and is tantamount to lack of respect to the holy book; the book came with its exegesis and as such there is no room for personal views.
He warned people regarding personal opinion during its translation by quoting a Saying of the holy Prophet (SAWA) which says “whosoever translates Quran according to his views, should prepare his abode in the hell”. In another tradition it is related that “whosoever is led by the Quran, shall enter paradise, and whosever put Quran behind him shall enter Hell”
The leader of the Islamic Movement further says that holy Quran has a twin partner which is members of Ahlul bayt(AS); they will remain inseparable until the two meet at kauthar (blessed pond). He explained the current happenings as unfortunate in which others are being referred regarding the translation of the holy Qur’an instead of the Ahlul Bayt who should be its right translators and who are referred to Ahlul Zikr in the holy Quran. In another verse they are termed as Rasikhuna Fil Ilm.
Sheikh Zakzaky commended the progress noted during this year's Tasfir and hoped that such effort shall continue years to come. Meanwhile the weekly Wednesday Tafsir by Sheikh Zakzaky shall continue as usual at F.I.C.
