Ahlul Bayt News Agency, The Kg Pudak Consultative Council and the village's Women Bureau (Syababun Nur) held a Khatam al-Quran or the completion of Quran recitals and tahlil reading for the deceased recently.
The guests of honour were the Assistant Brunei-Muara District Officer, Hj Harris bin Othman and spouse, Dyg Suraya binti Hj Salleh.
It was held at the residence of the village head, Awg Hj Sulaiman bin Hj Abd Hamid.
The ceremony was also enlivened with 'dikir marhaban' and sprinkling of scented flowers to the Quran readers followed by the presentation of souvenirs to the guests of honour and the breaking of fast.
