Ahlul Bayt News Agency, This is according to Mostafa Ranjbar Shirazi, Iran cultural attaché in Tanzania, who also told IQNA that special ceremonies for the day are being organized in joint committees by imams (prayer leaders) of Tanzania’s Shia and Sunni mosques as well as representatives from Tanzania’s 12-Imam Shias Community (TIC) and its Islamic Community (TIC).
“Iran Cultural Center in Tanzania is the main organizer of the plan which together with representatives from different groups tries to hold the Quds Day ceremony in the best possible way,” he added.
He also noted that among the programs intended for the day are speeches by the ambassadors of Iran, Palestine and Syria in Tanzania about the importance of the holy Quds for all Muslims, holding book and photo exhibitions featuring the holy Quds, and distributing cultural productions like CDs containing films and photos about Palestine.
