Dining places in Chechnya suspend their work during Ramadan

"Awareness efforts" will be taken to reach the owners and managers of the dining places which were not closed during Ramadan, Chechen Mufti Sultan Mirzayev said.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency, "Awareness efforts" will be taken to reach the owners and managers of the dining places which were not closed during Ramadan, Chechen Mufti Sultan Mirzayev said.

At a meeting with the members of the Spiritual Muslim Board of Chechnya Mirzayev said Ramadan was a holy month when each Muslim must keep fasting and give more time for worship.

He also noted that not all Muslims yet observed the Islam ethics, and some dining places kept working which was, according to Mirzayev, showing disrespect to those people who observed fasting, the press service of the Chechen mufti council reports.

For this purpose, a special commission was established to start its awareness efforts reaching the owners of such dining places.
