Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Uzbek Muslims began celebrating Ramadan today.
During Ramadan, Muslims fast from the onset of the morning prayer at dawn until sunset. While fasting, Muslims refrain from eating, smoking, and entertainment.
Pregnant and lactating women, the sick, the elderly, children under seven, and individuals who cannot fast for objective reasons such as warriors and travelers are exempted from fasting.
"During Ramadan, a man is reborn and cleansed - not only physically, but also spiritually," Uzbek Muslims Organizations Deputy Chairman Abdulaziz Mansur said.
