6th Night of Malaysia’s Quran Contest

Ten reciters took their turn to recite verses from the holy Quran on the sixth night of Malaysia’s International Holy Quran Competition, IQNA’s correspondent reports.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), They included Talib Saeed Nasir Ghanubi from Oman and Muhammad Adab Haji Marjuki from Brunei who recited some verses of the Surahs Baqara and Rum.

Other reciters of the sixth night were Abdul Kalam Muhamamd Firuz Shamseddin from Bangladesh, Muhammad Muhamamd Barri from Gambia, Irfan Hassan Salih from Kosovo, Juji Muhammad Amin from China, Abu Bakr Seddiq Ibrahim Minju from Morris, and Abdullah Salim Amin from Iraq.

Two female contestants also recited verses from the Quran last night. They were Nur Uzra Bint Ayub from Malysia and Munifa Bugabinj Alawi from the Philippines.

The 52nd edition of Malaysia’s International Holy Quran Competition is underway at Kuala Lumpur’s Putra World Trade Center with the participation of 76 Quran reciters from 47 countries. It will come to a close tomorrow, August 3.
