JEDDAH -- Saudi state-run TV will provide live English and French translations for the Holy Quran, during the month of Ramadan, said Qatar News Agency.
Saudi Culture and Information Minister Abdulaziz Khoja said that the move aimed at conveying meanings of the Holy Quran to all Muslims worldwide.
The translation will be on the screen while Imams in the holy mosques in Makkah and Madina will lead the prayers, he added.
A special team from the Ministries of culture and Information, and Islamic Affairs and Awqaf will be responsible for this project, said Khoja.
