Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The jury panel of the 52nd International Holy Quran Competition in Malaysia judges the particpants’ performance based on four criteria.
The four categories are Tajweed, Lahn, Fisaha (fluency) and Sowt.
The jury panel is made up of 11 members from different countries, all of whom are Quran masters.
4 members score the contestants on accuracy of Tajweed, 4 on Lahn, 3 on Fisaha and 3 on Sowt.
The overall score is 100 points which is divided to 40 points for Tajweed, 25 points for Lahn, 20 points for Fisaha and 15 points for Sowt.
The 52nd edition of Malaysia’s International Holy Quran Competition is underway at the Putra World Trade Center in Kuala Lumpur until Tuesday.
