Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The magazine is a biweekly published by Nigeria’s Center for Islamic Research and Education.
Its first edition includes articles on the Iranian president’s trip to the African country, the launch of Islamic micro finance bank, problems in way of publishing Islamic books in Nigeria, Islamic economy, and problems of Nigeria’s Muslim youth, as well as an interview with Sheikh Baba Adini Friday prayer leader of Lagos.
Al-Mizan in Hausa language and Pointer Express in English are the other two Islamic magazines published in the West African country.
Some 80 million Nigerians are Muslims, accounting for 70 percent of the population.
